Tanks will want to stand apart to not be cleaved by Riftmaw and will want to tank swap after each stack of Rend. The boss's energy will reach 100 and he will cast Riftmaw and Rend combos. If no players are within melee range, the party will receive raid-wide damage. Removing Ephemera Dust stacks when the party members average about five stacks is a good time to start this mechanic. This will remove all stacks of Ephemera Dust and gain Insatiable, a five percent damage increase stackable buff. When the entire raiding party is standing together, Skolex will go underground and strike with Ravening Burrow. Everyone else should not be within 10 yards of the tanks. Skolex will auto-attack the focused tank and the next closest player within 10 yards, which should be the other tank. The two tanks will need to be close together for this fight. This can be dispelled.Īfflicting all players will a stack of Ephemera Dust and cause damage.Ī random player will be the target of this attack, it is a cone and deals a huge amount of damage and afflicts players who are hit with Warp Sickness disorienting the hit players. This will cause damage and a Haste reduction debuff. The boss will shoot blood at party members. It applies a nasty debuff that increases two times. Pneumatic Impact will have the tanks swapping after each cast. Split Resolution will cause bad to appear on the ground that will explode after a short time, dodge these at all costs. If you touch one of these orbs you will receive a large amount of damage and be afflicted with a debuff increasing damage next time you touch one, so avoid these at all costs. Matter Dissolution will be cast on a random party member and spawn Anti-Matter orbs. Refracted blast remains a mechanic in this phase and Radioactive Core becomes Fractured Core which is the same mechanic but does more damage. ![]() Make sure to not stand in its path as it will cause an insta-kill. Phase Two - Upon 40 percent hp, the boss will roll out of the door. Deresolution will also target random players and cross the battlefield, players targeted will want to run it away from the party, so they have time to dodge it. Refracted Blast will target random players and can be dodged. Radioactive Core will cause a light amount of raid-wide damage during the fight. Players will want to dodge any ground effects that appear on the ground and watch for Radioactive Core, Refracted Blast, and Deresolution. They will cast Adaptive Subroutines which increases their damage and speed the longer they are around. The Volatile Materium will spawn in groups and can be cleaved down. These adds can be cleaved and CC'd to make this fight easier. They will target random players and cast Searing Ablation, teleporting them to a player and damaging them. Point Defense Drones need to be interrupted at every chance. Tanks will want to swap after 1-2 stacks of this. Watch for Wave of Disintegration line attacks that explode after a short time, and Tanks will need to keep a lookout for Dissonance. The Pre-Fabricated Sentry will be the majority of the adds you will be facing. Three Unstable Cores need to be run to the boss in the door to start the fight with the main boss. Once the Force Field drops, an Unstable Core will drop and this needs to be run to the boss hibernating in the gate to start the main boss fight phase. Once powered up they will cast Exposed Core, the party will want to take shelter in the Force Field around the add. Phase One - The party will need to destroy the adds near the Automated Defense Matrix enemies, to power them up. The main boss will start inside the wall of the gate and will be unattackable at first. The first boss in the Sepulcher of the First Ones will have you working across three phases.
